Trader Joe’s Love

9 Nov

I love Trader Joe’s.

No really, I love, LOVE it.

Walking up and down the aisles, checking out all of the colorful, happy products.

Deciding between one brand of coconut milk and another.

And with such a great price?!

I’m in pure bliss.

And yesterday, I was able to stop by my little slice of heaven and couldn’t resist picking up some new goodies.

I decided to trade in my favorite pumpkin butter for some honey apple butter. This switch is me trying to overcome my delicious-meal-overkilling nature. ;) My thoughts? It’s pretty good and I’m glad for a change of pace, but I like my pumpkin butter better. What can I say? I like what I like. ;)

The boy is coming into town today for The Citizen Cope concert tonight! Since he’ll be spending the night, I’ve decided to surprise him by making him this delicious french toast recipe (hence, the sourdough bread) along with a side of bacon (The boy loves to eat his meals with sweet and savory at the same time).

I also bought the dark chocolate pomegranate seeds for the boy…okay, okay maybe for me too. ;)

As for the Espresso coffee, I was talked into this purchase! I love lattes but can’t afford Starbucks every day. Sad, I know. The sweet lady at the check out line was raving about this espresso flavored coffee she just bought here. When she mentioned the price was the same as the coffee I was currently purchasing, I had a knee jerk reaction and ran and switched out the bags.

The verdict? SO GOOD!! It gives I’ll  my daily iced coffee drink a rich, bold flavor similar to that of an espresso-based drink. This FOR SURE will be a regular in my coffee stock pile.

Food for Thought:

What are some of your favorite Trader Joe’s products?

I’m so sorry you have to live life without TJs!! Now it’s in my life, I don’t think I can ever go back. I’m OBSESSED with pancakes and pumpkin, not to mention sweet potatoes, any kind of butter, and hummus. You seem to have a VERY similar pallet to mine!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I can’t wait to check out yours!
